Moving on to Tel Aviv

On Saturday evening January 12 our daughter Jennifer drove us to Logan where we zipped through check-in and security and went immediately to the Business Class lounge to watch the Patriots playoff game.  While awaiting our flight we ran into a Lahey Colleague, Ophthalmologist Paul Cotran, who was on our flight to Istanbul but then flying on to Cairo.  We enjoyed getting to know him a little better while watching the Patriots game.  Jim was able to continue watching the game on Turkish Air live TV.

We had a two hour layover in Istanbul before the 2 hour flight to Tel Aviv.  We arrived around 9pm at our new residence in Northern Tel Aviv/Yafo.  This top floor condo is a renovated sea-view duplex with a curved wall of glass and a wrap around balcony offering panoramic views of the Mediterranean and Hilton Beach.

There is also a beautiful port and lovely park nearby along with many local shops, groceries & restaurants immediately out of our front door.  After unpacking and grocery shopping it was time for bed, but not without drinking a toast to our next new adventure.

We are here until April 13 and would love to have any of you come and visit.  This could be your free guest room in Tel Aviv Israel.
