March 14, 2026

The big day has finally arrived, not that either of us was wishing for it to arrive any sooner. Jason and his family was up at 3am to drive to the Jacksonville Florida airport where they took a flight to Atlanta and then on to Mexico City. They couldn’t leave on the 13th as two children were in school. Natalia had to drive 8 hours from Tuscaloosa Alabama after class at Alabama University. They landed at 10am and arrived in Polanco at noon. Nico pulled an all-nighter as he was gaming.

Their apartment is two short blocks from ours but we missed their arrival by a minute.
I truly felt like a Birthday queen celebrating with my family.
At 6pm we gathered together to travel to St Angel Inn where we had the Birthday dinner
Jim hired a Hummer Limo so we could all travel together.
We drank champagne in the limo during the half hour drive to the Restaurant.
Sandy went around the table to hug and thank each one for traveling to Mexico to celebrate her big Birthday. This is Granddaughter Katia, age 21.
Granddaughter Natalia age 20 acted as the official photographer. Thank you Natty for all these great photos.

And last but not least the absolute love of my life, who makes all my dreams come true.🥰

Back in the limo for our drive home.
There are no words to adequately express how grateful I am for this day. Each one of you contributed to making it one of the most memorable days of my life. I feel so loved and despite being 80 today you made me feel like a kid again. Thank you all for my most precious gift, having you all together.❤️
