Deb and Casey had paragliding on their list of Colombian activities. Sandy said that she was in so Jim had no choice but to go along with the majority. We were picked up at our home by a driver contracted by the paragliding company to deliver the victims to the top of a nearby mountain. A beautiful narrow winding busy road brought us to our destination.
This is the cafe where we parked.They didn’t tell us that we would have to hike up 270 steps to the paragliding facility.

We have a video of that but won’t post it. Sandy was terrified of the take off as she felt like she was jumping off of a cliff.

She thinks that she is the oldest person to ever paraglide from here.Unlike Sandy, Jim was not afraid of the takeoff but once aloft he was quite apprehensive as he felt like he might just slide off the front of the seat even though we were well strapped in.

What a morning, all that was before lunch. It really was a fun experience and we would recommend it to anyone who is not terrified of heights.
